Sarah Vaughan, Billie Holiday와 함께
3대 여성 재즈 싱어로 꼽혀 왔으며...
1935년부터 Webb's Orchestra와 활동하기도 했고,
41년부터 솔로의 길을 걸어왔던..그녀는 96년에 사망했다.
