의 서정적인 어쿠스틱 버젼이 오리지널이다.
2년후 '66년 이곡의 명을 타이틀로 한 앨범
"Sounds Of Silence" 에 우리귀에 익숙하고
대중적으로도 잘 알려진 일렉 버젼으로 재 탄생되고
이듬해 '67년 더스틴 호프먼 주연의 영화 졸업에
삽입되면서 영원한 명곡으로 자리잡는다.
