Diamond records사와 계약으로 레코드를 발표
1940년 Dean Martin으로 개명 1946년 코미디언 Jerry Lewis와
콤비로 영화에 데뷰 배우겸 가수로 활동.
1956년 솔로도 독립 꾸준한 인기를 누리며 60년대 말까지 히트
1989년 공식 은퇴후 1995년 호흡기 장애로 사망.
후기에 알콜 중독으로 그리고 역시 가수로 활동하였던
그의 아들 Dino Jr. 가 1987년 비행기 추락사 하는등
개인적인 아픔도 겪었다.
